Hiking a 14er for the first time

Post by Ruthy2014 »

My fiancé and i are planning to hike the east ridge of quandary peak on July 7. This will be the first for both of us. I am a little concerned about the snow. However, the last trip report I read from the 22nd sounded like we could get through it without special gear. Do you guys have any suggestions for us?

No special gear needed. Went last Sunday. Trekking poles are awesome.
Still some snow but manageable.
