LOST: Women's Patagonia Shell Jacket

Postby sunny1 » Mon Dec 03, 2012 8:51 pm

While descending off Wheeler, Sunday 12/2, my Patagonia turquoise hooded shell jacket blew off my pack, unbeknownst to me. :(
It's a size medium.
Marmots are likely making a nice waterproof, windproof yurt out of it...

It could be on North Star by now, or even further.
The Sisterhood of the traveling Patagonia jacket.

If you find it, please let me know! [-o<

Nancy,

Can you draw a map of your route and post it?

Thanks for the post, Britt. Are you headed up there?
I'll try re: map - haven't ever done that before, but will see what I can do.
Our GPS died before we hit the saddle.

EDIT - I think the jacket blew off my pack on the west side of the saddle, near the saddle, on the descent.

Is this it, Sunny?

If it is, I can give you the gps coordinates. Although I suppose it is a mobile home...

Oh, that's a shame, Nancy -- unfortunately I can't help with this one. But it sounds like globreal might be getting on the case and my money is that he tracks it down. And as for the marmots? Not to worry -- history shows they know better than to touch your stuff! Good luck!

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get up there today and this would have been the day to do it. It looks like's it's going to start snowing tonight and over the next 4 days. :(
