Re: Choose one
I like Democrat, but I think it's too quick unless you take the long North Face approach. Lincoln has a sweet upper summit though coming from Cameron. Heck, while you're at it, just do Bross too and get the whole DeCaLiBron! (Oh wait, Bross is still closed, never mind )
I get acute mountain sickness when I am away from the mountains.

Re: Choose one
I would go for Lincoln from Montgomery Reservoir Trail. This is the way that I did Lincoln and Bross the first time in 2003. The second time was as part of the Decalibron last summer, which was nice, but really crowded. I really liked doing these two peaks from the Reservoir side and it was far less crowded (at least until I got near the top).

Lincoln- it is way more interesting than the others!
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Cameron
Because, how many people go out there just to do Cameron? It would make for a fun story. When you come back to get the others, you can hit the other 3 without a problem.

Lincoln. Because the last time I was up there we were fogged in. Would like to see the view.

Re: Choose one
I did Democrat on June 21 2009.
Between a considerable amount of post-holing,
darkening skies and having been up these several times,
I declined the other three.
I got my "14er fix" and a nice view.
I was also checking out the new legal regulations in the area, a non-event.

Re: Choose one
From the standard I would say Lincoln. The summit ridge is interesting with some cool spots to scramble around. I don't remember anything like that on Democrat. You also will need to walk over Cameron to get there so it's a 2 for one. Honestly I could barely tell I was on a summit when we came over Cameron. Bross is just as exciting as everyone says it is...

Re: Choose one
The north ridge of Democrat looks like a pretty cool alternative to the standard Kite Lake Route.

Re: Choose one
Lincoln because we climbed it in 60 mph wind gusts and we were completely socked in as it snowed off and on. I'd like to actually see the summit next time! I'd like to try it from the Lincoln Amphitheater if they ever open that up officially.

Democrat. I think it was the north wall from Montgomery Resevoir if memory serves.... Long and very vertical.
It's never right the first time, and if it is... It's wrong.
