Another nudge for a trip report... Even if it's just very basic it would be great to see a trip report for such a seldom climbed route. Whatever style it took to get there congrats on a winter summit.

Hey Jesse, Alan, et al: Yeah, I'll post one. Alan, I agree it'll be a good process to put it into words. I wasn't dangling something to elicit interest, I'm just ticked at myself over the lack of fitness & judgment I had Saturday. That said, we had stellar conditions and topped out on a sporty route which doesn't see much traffic, summer or esp. winter. We got down just fine, no injuries, and even made it to the Estes McDonalds before closing time.

One impediment to a trip report is that I need to get a new camera to download my photo chip into. My trusty Leica took a beating in a fall Saturday. Now that's a dangler, no?

Tom,
now thats funny, I hit up the very same McDonalds. I got a weird look from the cashier and didnt relize untill I got home what I looked like. I was in desperate need of a shower and a 14 hours sleep.
Good climbing with you Tom, and dont beat yourself up, you did great! Anyone that can tag the summits of Longs in January has no issues with personal fitness.
