I preordered on Amazon. It was shipped out last Thursday, and it was waiting for me in mail on Sunday when I got back after a weekend skiing at Durango. It's my first Roach book, and I am impressed!

Saw it at REI Boulder as well and almost, almost, bought it right then and there. My friend and I use the 2nd edition a lot and love it. I flipped through the pages of the 3rd and was very impressed with some small changes I noticed (location coordinates to name one). Definitely going to be picking it up soon.

I received this yesterday and just spent the better part of the morning reviewing it. I thought the 2nd edition was great, but this one is even better. Tons of info, especially for the number and stat nerds like me who will love comparing the "R" ratings of various routes.

Just read this interview (by Forum member Alan Arnette) with Gerry Roach that goes through some of the changes/additions that the 3rd Edition has.
