I'm hoping to climb Dragon's Tail in the coming weeks. Any idea if it'll be in shape by this weekend? I know it's been skied, but I'm hoping for it to be quite consolidated to make it more enjoyable.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: RMNP Conditions Update
Does anyone a good website to find snowpack for RMNP or the region? I am looking to go snowshoeing up in RMNP next weekend, but want to make sure there is enough snow.

Look for the "Colorado SNOTEL" Data link. I believe there are sensors at Wild Basin, Copeland Lake, and Bear Lake.

Re: RMNP Conditions Update
It seems to have topped out at 99.9 inches. I wonder if that is an actual snow depth or a limitation of the device, i.e. only 8 feet tall.Johnba wrote:This is the Colorado SNOTEL site at Bear Lake. takes a bit of formulating but its good

Those -99.9 readings are just sensor errors.peter303 wrote:It seems to have topped out at 99.9 inches. I wonder if that is an actual snow depth or a limitation of the device, i.e. only 8 feet tall.

Re: RMNP Conditions Update
Thank you guys for your quick responses. It looks like there is probably around 5 feet of snow at bear lake right now. Works for me. Have a good day.
