North Maroon
My wife (pegsteacher) and our oldest daughter (Xan_Ello) successfully summitted North Maroon following the traverse from Maroon this morning. Their 51st and 52nd peaks. They apparently got into a bit of trouble on the descent, and COSAR is looking for our daughter. Any and all prayers for the two are most appreciated.

Re: North Maroon
Praying for a safe return home!
You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know. - Rene Daumal

Thoughts are with you for a positive outcome and reunion!

Re: North Maroon
Thanks for all the positive thoughts and prayers. My wife just texted "Xan (our daughter) is safe. Working on trying to get me."
