Longs Peak on Friday 8/15
Is anyone planning to do the Longs Keyhole route on Friday AM? I'm hoping to tag along

I am considering it either the tuesday the 19th or monday the 25th... planning on leaving the T.H. around midnight and heading thru the keyhole.

I'm available all of these dates. My hiking partner is sick and I'm eager to find one or more persons to do Longs with. I'm a steady sturdy hiker but not especially speedy and wouldn't want to hold up anyone. Midnight seems a bit early? Most people seem to start between 2-5am so that it's light for the tricky parts. 2am is my preferred time to maximize the chance to summit and descend before weather hits.

I'm heading for the summit Wednesday morning with another member of this forum. We'll likely leave the boulder field (we're camping Tuesday night) around 5-6 am Wednesday. Another hiker or 2 would be cool.

My colleague and I are planning to climb the keyhole route on 8/25 and would appreciate any updates on the conditions from your climb.
