Hello,
Does anyone know of the snow conditions on the standard Wetterhorn trail and/or other peaks around Lake City? A trip report by mkrier (climbed 8/29) showed some snow on Wetterhorn already. I figure with the recent cold spell it probably has considerably more snow.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Dry & beautiful!
There was a tad bit of snow (dusting above 13.5k) a week ago, but it has all melted. Weather has been warm and dry. The recent cold spell was only the Front Range and the northern central mountains.

I just did Wetterhorn and Uncompahgre on Saturday. The conditions were perfect on both, 60, no wind, no snow.

Redcloud/Sunshine and Handies were completely dry last Thurs and Fri. Nothing but sun, couldn't have been more perfect.
