Pike's Peak West Slope?

Does Pike's Peak have another route that is unlisted? I heard something about a west (?) slope route that is nine miles

Probably nothing legal, aside from hiking from the highway somewhere. Most of the south and southwest sides of Pikes Peak are cut off by Colorado Springs Utilities land. If you don't care about the 3000' rule, you can make it as short as you want, of course. The shortest 3000' route is probably what the 14er-speed guys have been doing: get dropped off on the PP highway at 11,110' near Glen Cove, then beeline up the north slopes to Devil's Playground.

Out of curiosity, why is there no info on the Barr Trail / East Slope?

If you do come down Barr Trail, stop off at The Loop for Margaritas.
