Conditions in the Sangre de Cristos

Post by BigWheezy »

I am heading out to the Sangres this coming weekend for some winter fun hiking a few 13ers and doing some winter camping. Does anyone know what the conditions in the range are like currently? Will snowshoes be necessary?

Snowshoes not needed (at this time) above treeline but below treeline they're good to have, still quite a bit of snow in the trees.
