14er finisher - second time around

Post by Wanderlust »

Yahoo! I am finally done with the 14ers for my second time around. It took me several tries to get the last 3 in Chicago Basin done! I have Shasta on my personal check list and then I want to quit the checklists and hike for the sake of hiking, and bike, and ski, and ..... It took me 8 summers to do the 14ers the first time, and 11 summers to do them the second time. I was not planning on doing them twice, it just sort of happened. And each time I had to repeat easy ones to get in shape for the hard ones. And now I am off to go camping this weekend and have quality time with my husband and dog. Can't get enough outdoors!

Congratulations!

When are you planning on Shasta?
My son and I will be out there next summer.

Two rounds is really something. I'm happy with two on any of them!

Hoping for June. I gotta get in better shape though! I have been slacking a bit these past few summers!
