We are going to try to head up the trail around 7am. We'll see how long breakfast takes us!

Did anyone go? It was actually a beautiful and fairly warm day in the mountains today.
I'm old, slow and fat. Unfortunately, those are my good qualities.

Yea! there ended up being maybe like 20+ people go up. The trail was soft in a lot of places and sometimes not visible. I think most used snow shoes or skiis but microspikes worked some of the way. I switched between spikes and snow shoes. Fairly decent trail by the end. Either way my 1st winter 14er whooped me.

Did you and your hubby successfully summit the peak last Sunday?

We went but got a late start, we turned around at the false summit, maybe on the 9th!

If only partially skiiable, which parts?

There were a few people walking up with skins and skiing down. In my opinion there were about 2 good powder patches. The rest wasnt great for skiing, but some reports that the summit had good snow. Be prepared to repair damage from rocks. The snow was crusty on top and was breaking out from under skiiers, not the best but makes for a quicker descent. There is better snow elsewhere this time of year.
