Overnight on Evans Summit?
Can anyone inform as to whether you can park overnight on Mt Evans summit? As in... me in my vehicle in the parking lot sleeping/acclimating.

Replying to my own post... sheesh! I just saw a 2013 thread on this with the best advice looking like: stay under radar and play dumb (I have at least one of those down pat!). If anyone knows of anything that changed from this sage advice, please elaborate. thanks.

You should be able to park anywhere off the road that isn't signed as a Denver Mountain Park and (for Leave No Trace considerations) not on tundra.

People come and go all hours of the night. You may not find a quiet place to sleep like at Quandry and Longs.

Re: Overnight on Evans Summit?
There was a parking lot a little lower down that we saw people car camping in last year. Might have been at 12 or 13000 feet, we can't remember. But if it looks concerning at the summit, maybe it would work there
