Snow questions....

Post by jeffs »

Wilson Peak - ROA approach - Is there still snow in the approach basin - Need spikes?
Sneffels - Still snow/ice near the top of Lavender Col? Need spikes?

Thanks!

As for ROA, there were a few small pesky snow fields left (as of two weeks ago), no need for spikes back then.

I climbed the SW Ridge of Sneffels on Tuesday and did not see any snow on the col. You will not need spikes.
