Sneffels and Columbia

Post by rquayle »

I'm climbing Sneffels (Ouray) and Columbia (Buena Vista) this weekend. Do I need ice axe, helmet, microspikes for either?

None of the above on Columbia. See the condition report I posted a few days ago on that one. There's also a CR on Sneffels from 9/1 that talks about traction. I always wear my helmet class 3 and above. There is loose rock on Sneffels, so it would be a good idea.
