Manitou Incline - Current Conditions

Conditions on the Incline are pretty good right now. Packed powder with gravel/dirt between ties in the shaded section below and the last pitch up top, with dry conditions through the mid-section.

The photos are from yesterday, 12-2-10. I wore spikes, though others were getting along fine without them.

Continued on to Barr and took the Incline back down. Gorgeous day.

Thanks for posting this. Coincidently, just a few hours ago as I was driving to work, I was manking mental plans to do the incline sometime Saturday. Now I know what to expect.

ps... Your Blanca photo looks great in my lving room. Thanks for all your had work! I'll be giving you a holler sometime later in the month when I get my act together and figure out what mountain pic to send to my fiancée. ---It will most likely be too late for Christmas, but I can just take it with when I fly out to see her in February.

Sweet photos! I did the incline today with Eric and most of what little snow you saw the other day is gone - brought spikes but left them in the pack. Good times! Cheers!

Wonder if I saw you up there today, Greenwok? I started on the Incline about 1:30ish. I also left the microspikes in the car and was glad I did ! Snow is not a concern on the Incline as of today

We started at 11:00 and I want to say we were back at the Barr TH 12:47PM, so must have just missed you. Ended up being a super nice day for that - had been watching the weather and expecting more extensive cloud cover but the sun was out most of the time 8)
