Cabins

Post by Codys14ers »

My wife and I have our anniversary in June and I am looking for somewhere new to go. We are looking for good hiking and would like to stay in a cabin for a change of pace. Does anyone have any ideas for cabins to use that are near good hiking? Thanks for the help!

You should check out Pioneer Guest Cabins in Crested Butte. There is hiking right from the cabins, nothing huge unless you get in the car but also some great mountain biking. It is definitely a rustic but enjoyable setting without a crowd.

Ask for Ken. Shoot for late September if you can adjust your timing.

gsilva - If you're married, you have a lot more understanding spouse than I have. I can just see me telling my wife we are going to celebrate our anniversary 4 months late. Well, actually I can't see myself telling her that.

Someone beat me to the VRBO.com recomendation. I second it though! Great website with tons of options. I think I have used it on every vacation for the last 5 years or so, stayed in places all over the country and a few outside of the country while using it.
