Mt St. Vrain, Rosalie Peak

Post by Eph 2 5 »

Does anyone know if Mt. St. Vrain/Meadow Mountain is generally a low avalanche risk in March? I have the same question for Rosalie Peak (from the south). I'd like to try one of these hikes next weekend. My guess is there's going to be a lot of newly fallen snow by then. Thanks in advance for the help.

Generally, Rosalie will be low avy risk from the south (Tanglewood Trailhead). Once at the summit, great views of Evans and Bierstadt.

Was up St Vrain Feb-March of last year. Great option that seems to have a lot of ski activity up the main trail to the saddle between SV and Meadow Mt. Not sure what the angle is but I believe the risk to be low. Great views up there!
