I recommend this hike mid to late June for the roaring river. The route currently has some flood damage from fall 2013 flooding, and the bridge is out at Ouzel Falls. Still, if you like waterfalls and need an easy hike for your relatives, this might just be the ticket. I can't think of too many high reward/low effort hikes that top this.

Good to know. I post a lot of trip reports on my personal site, but have only posted the 14er summit reports over here. Might need to start sharing some others
