Cache la Poudre Lodging/Campgrounds?
Does anyone know of some somewhat budget lodging or campgrounds with showers along the Cache la Poudre? I would rough it camp, but we're going to a wedding, so we have to have a shower and stuff to get ready. Maybe Archer's?

Hi Scott, I recall seeing some rental cabins at Kinnikinnik. There is a little general store there and possibly two different rental businesses. Awesome part of the canyon! http://tradingpostresort.com/

There's a KOA on 287 at the mouth of the canyon.

You can use the Mountain Park showers even if aren't camping there.

or one of the Fort Collins rec centers if you get all the way out - day entry is $5

You can get showers and/or lodging at Glen Echo resort about 45 mins from 287 up the canyon. They also have great burgers in their restaurant as well as awesome pies.

Based on your profile you're coming from Craig, which would mean 14 heading east instead of west? How far down you want/need to go (is the wedding)? There's a few resorts up that way, as already mentioned around Kinikinik and Rustic. And Redfeather Lakes has lodging/camping/showers and isn't too far north of 14, again depending on where you're going.

Yes, that's correct.Based on your profile you're coming from Craig, which would mean 14 heading east instead of west?
The wedding is in Fort Collins. My plan was to do a hike along the way and then camp in Cache la Poudre, get ready in the campground and go to the wedding on Saturday, and then come back and camp in Cache la Poudre that night to do another hike. The wife and my son are sick now, so I'm not sure if we'll still go.How far down you want/need to go (is the wedding)?
Thanks for the advice everyone!
