Not quite recent, but still maybe helpful:

I'm heading up there on Friday and Saturday. That recent conditions report doesn't sound too promising for getting up Vermillion. I can post when I get back.

While not directly on the peaks I spent all weekend down in the area climbing high passes, and running the trails at Hardrock. Tons of photos from Island Lakes basin, snow melting fast in there, though the lake is still partially frozen. All the snow I crossed (up to 13200ft) was soft and easy to kick steps into, used microspikes for one steep section, but wasn't completely necessary (and that was at sunrise). I'd think you could skirt your way around most snow to keep up Vermillion.

Does anyone have any recent updates from Ice Lakes Basin? Trying to determine when the wildflowers will be peaking this year.

Just up there Sunday to attempt Pilot knob (started to snow and rain hard, so we bailed). Flowers are stunning right now.
