Pretty deep snow in trees above 10,500' last Saturday on Snowmass Lake Trail.
Logjam was passable with a lot of floaters. Water level fairly high.

We ran over Triangle Pass (12,900) and Copper Pass (12,580) today and there was significant snow on both routes. The passes are located a few miles as the crow flies from West Maroon and Trail Rider. The run took us about 25% more time than normal.

The snow sections involved a lot of postholing, as it's been around 90 degrees in town here and the snow up high is staying soft. Creek crossings were doable, but took full concentration.

Seems like the routes will be prime in 1-2 weeks.

A friend from CB ran the loop last week and posted a bunch of photos to our Facebook group about the loop.
In short, lots of snow on the passes, not much postholing but very wet feet and muddy trails. Check the link below for the photos and post.
