New Ski/Ride sub-forum

Postby BillMiddlebrook » 03 Feb 2010, 16:54

I've added this forum to centralize posts about skiing 14ers, 13ers or any other mountains in Colorado.
I hope it helps to better organize information.

The season is approaching...

No kidding, I'm still using my "rock skis", its skiing like early December out there.

Did the groundhog see his shadow? Of course winter has to start before we can actually have another 6 weeks of it

sounds like some of you need to do a roadtrip down here to CB, the skiing the last couple of weeks has been superb in and out of bounds.

Freaking dangerous. I haven't skied anything over 30 degrees all year. We did get like 7 feet in 7 days two weeks ago, and even the meadow skipping was epic. Then we had 3 avy deaths in 1 week. I heard the resorts were pretty good, but I've been hanging in the backcountry. We do have much better coverage than we did early season.

Thanks. Fantastic. That's how I found this site initially , BC ski beta. And yes indeed , the season is approaching. Sure we wanna ski pow now - but the corn season still holds plenty of promise................

I like the new sub-forum Bill!! It will really help with organizing ski threads from all of the other sub-forums. Nice.

I'm headed there tomorrow in hopeful search of some better snow than we have here!!
