Any Skiable 14ers yet?

Postby CoHiker92 » Wed Oct 17, 2012 10:49 am

Does anyone know of a 14er that's skiable. Does Mount Democrat have enough snow yet?

There's not enough snow accumulation yet and probably won't be for awhile.
How long after arriving at someone's house is it appropriate to ask for the WiFi password?

I was up on La Plata Peak last weekend and there was a decent amount of snow. The top was skiable for sure but I want to ski an easier mountain.

This question reminds me of this video taken last summer. The last minute or so, in particular.

The former-cross-country-skier-who-used-to-wax-his-own-skis in me is cringing. I can't imagine he had any base left at the end.
