I can't remember if a topic was started back in 2008, but since Bill created this new board, I'm posting this information as a permanent memorial.

Thomas passed away in October of 2008 in a car accident at the age of 17. I had the pleasure of meeting him and his dad in Big Bend National Park in 2006. We were planning on climbing a Big Bend peak in November of 2008. Unfortunately we didn't get to do that. His goal was to climb all the 14ers and he had already climbed a few. He was an Eagle Scout and like me, scouting got him interested in climbing. R.I.P. my friend.
