Missing Hiker on Elbert
My partner and I met a woman this morning at the North Elbert Trailhead who had lost contact with her husband on Elbert. They were climbing together yesterday, Wednesday , when she turned around early. The last she had heard from him was when he called from the summit at 2:30 yesterday afternoon. Does anyone know if this hiker was found? We saw helicopters around 11am circling the peak, but I'm hoping it isn't related. Thanks for any updates. I hate hearing these stories.
