Two men possibly missing on Challenger?

Post by Somewhat of a Prick »

I found this note on Challenger yesterday morning. It's paper, so it most likely was put there this weekend. It was near the base at the start of the long gully up.

It was too foggy for us to see much of anything, but if anyone has any info please give that number a call/text/ Thanks.

You could PM the picture of the note to member CCSARCAP to see if he has heard anything.

That's pretty strange. If they climbed on Thursday and you found the note yesterday (Monday), the note is 4 days old. Surely if they were missing someone would have called Search & Rescue by now? Although I still think it's a good idea to contact SAR just to be safe. Hopefully you'll hear back from Les soon and everything will be okay. In the meantime, no one else call/text Les unless you have something critical to tell him. We don't need a bunch of people asking the exact same questions while clogging up Les' voicemail.

What does the note say? The image isn't loading for me.

Les texted me:

"Yes we got connected with a happy ending to our little mountain drama thanks to some friendly climbers.

Thanks,

Les"
