A Video to Watch

Post by globreal »

Brenda Porter from the Colorado Mountain Club sent me the following video link this morning. Then Uwe Sartori, also with the CMC, suggested I post it here on 14ers.com. When I watched this excellent video I thought the same thing, this should be posted for the 14ers.com community to see.

So, after several avalanche deaths this past week and in the spirit of the STEVE GLADBACH MEMORIAL MOMENTS videos we've produced, here is a safety/awareness video worth taking seven minutes to watch.

Your link appears to be broken but I'm assuming this is the video you're referring to.

Very informative video. For someone who doesn't know very much about avalanche forecasting, aside from the very basics, this was a good watch.

Thanks for posting globreal.

You are welcome.

I to thought it's very informative…and hopefully it will save some lives as people become more aware.

Good video. I like the last remarks: The journey is the destination. Come back alive and better friends than when you left. Words to live by. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing! We can't be reminded too many times of the dangers of avalanches out there!

Thanks for posting Britt. I know those guys personally and they are really, really good. I read their reports everyday and I see them a couple of times a week out in the field. They definitely make life safer for all of us.
