The "brace" is a splint he fabricated out of his snowshoes. He's got a long road ahead of him. Major fall...1700'. Hasty team got to him 0430. 18 short lowers to LZ.

I don't think anyone is saying that climbing unranked peaks is easier than ranked peaks.marcstrawser wrote:The fact that it isn't ranked is a joke. Every year it seems like there are multiple falls or injuries on that traverse that require SAR, unfortunately some that are fatal. Glad he was safely rescued and will be alright.
