Nope. Pennsylvannia.
I have only high praise for the Summit County Rescue Group for its professionalism and compassionate care. So, my deepest thanks to all of you, John, Paul, Cassie, Jay, Brandon and those whose names I don’t know. And to Bob, who offered my wife his hiking stick and accompanied her safely down the mountain. God bless each of you!

A Canadian would've figured out how to get down safely... eventually.

Well damn I could put Denverites and the statement would be equally as funny. Or what about hipsters? They key words were "Facebook pics" :D

I am unable to walk away from the mountain without climbing it. An unclimbed mountain tugs at my consciousness with the eternal weight of time itself. Until I've pressed my face into it's alpine winds, hugged it's ancient granite walls, and put it's weathered summit beneath my heal I'm unable to resist it's attraction.Knowing nature gives the mountain more time than she gives us adds urgency to the obsession. As has been said before; the mountain doesn't care.

It can wait forever. I cannot.

Sounds rough up there. Thank goodness there was no cannibalism.

Hey, I've hiked out injured a couple times! And I can't even speak French! (Except to order a beer!)
