condolences to the family and the hiker. Bells are a scary place. Very sad how many people have had stories with unhappy endings here. I hope the family finds peace.

Condolences, life is fleeting, a good friend's dad died in a car accident today. Some times, good people are taken away too soon and it is always a tragedy. It's a bit of of tired statement but the man died doing something he loved. Some solace should be taken in that.

Very sad. Although this man was pursuing a different goal in the mountains than most of us do, I am sure the peace and serenity that we find there are common to all. My heart goes out to his family and friends.
