There was a post about it on the 14ers facebook page. Sounded like 4 people went up the West Ridge and may have gotten off route on the descent. According to the thread they were all successfully rescued.

There was another post on the Facebook page more recently from someone who assisted with the SAR who said that they actually tried to descend the southwest face, not the west ridge route. That terrain is nasty. Really glad they're all okay. Thanks to the amazing SAR teams once again.

Southwest face is a bad choice anywhere. We scoped it out thoroughly just for kicks and every single potential route looks like suicide.

Not at all surprising considering the groups of 20+ people and summit crowds of 100+ every single weekend from the beginning of July through mid-September.

But not all on the west ridge.
