Mt. Princeton Road construction ?

Post by MarkC0le »

There was a post in late July indicating that road construction on the Mt. Princeton Road would be happening through at least August making vehicular passage problematic (as well as maybe inhibiting parking at the radio towers). Can anyone comment whether this is still happening - especially on weekdays ? Thanks

Drove to the first switchback above the towers, and hiked Princeton, on 8/30. No sign of construction, lots of vehicular traffic on the road all the way up to Tigger Peak.

I did Princeton/Tigger on September 8. There were several work vehicles at the towers, so it might be difficult to park there. However, I definitely saw people drive to just below Tigger at 11,800'.

Thanks for responses.
Any other input going forward appreciated. Our plans are in flux but could involve going later Sept or first part of October
