Shelf Road was pretty sweet this weekend. The south-facing walls blocked the wind and it was quite solar. The sun and warmth was a welcome respite.

Climbing in the Garden on Tuesday afternoon if anyone's interested. Might be windy, but the forecast is calling for 63 and sunny. We'll be doing easy routes in the sun.

James works the crux on "Green Grenade," 5.11a, Spiney Ridge, Shelf Road, Colorado, 3-3-12.

Sure was, I couldn't believe how hot it was in the sun there today... in a t-shirt! My 1st visit to Shelf and I really liked it.

Yeah, just us mugs yesterday. Kat's back in DC finiishing her last semester and my regular partner's out of town.

Those warm sunny days of December 2012 are now nothing but a thing of the past!

Nice shot. Is that route actually slightly overhanging or is it just shot with a dutch angle?
