There can be two things when there is a cloudy day climbing.
1, Its misty, cold, calm, cloudy weather, its vary relaxing when climbing or
2, it can be Vary fogy, cold and thunderstorms, can be vary difficult and dangerous.
looking at these photos just remind you of that.
but what I'm trying to say that they are vary nice photos.

Clouds over the Sangres on my way back driving home from I think hiking in and out of Purgatory to the Chicago Basin:

Clouds over the Indian Peaks taken from Broomfield. The blue was a little overexposed, but I sure hope no one was on those tall peaks back there.

An anvil cloud taken from the China Wall shortly before crossing Devils Causeway in the Flattops Wilderness. Luckily that wasn't headed our way because, pro-tip, there is zero protection from the weather on that stretch.
