Congrats are in order for our friend Kimo! Kimo's photo of Crestone Needle was selected to be in the Wilderness Forever photography exhibit at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C.

Thanks guys. I urge everyone to scroll through the selected photos on the Wilderness50 website. There are a number of talented Colorado photographers featured in the exhibit. Our great state is well represented.

It was a nice moment below the Needle. Right time right place. The Wilderness Act protects moments like those in places like that. It may be our nation's most endearing law. Treasures should be celebrated. And respected.

Well said, and what a great picture, I have been looking at it on my iPad for a while now, it is strange but I can almost put myself in that location. Powerful photo!
