I am a fan of Jeremy Swanson out of Aspen; http://jeremyswansonphoto.com/project/prints/. He doesn't always focus on nature, but I like his nature shots.

Re: Nominate your favorite Colorado Landscape Photographer
I had never heard of him (Lars) until recently and I checked out his site and I agree with Matt he is way over the top for my tastes with his processing but based on the number of FB Likes I guess people like his style.mattpayne11 wrote:Lars is very good, His processing is too extreme for me to list him here though, (my own personal opinion).
My own goal is to have natural looking pictures so if this means many people don't care for my look that's fine, I am not in it for FB Likes I am in it to share my hobby/passion with some more unique angles from the
high mountains of Colorado. Granted I haven't done much the last couple of year due to one thing or another but I will back in full swing here really soon, so stay tuned folks!

Re: Nominate your favorite Colorado Landscape Photographer
My favorite Landscape photographer, especially of 14ers, is myself. I would much rather be behind the camera taking the pictures than looking at pictures that others took, even if the quality is not as good.

My buddy Stewart gets my vote.
Stewart M. Green Adventure Photography & Writing
Landscapes by Stewart M. Green
I wish Stewart would add a page for historical photos to his site. He has a marvelous collection of Colorado mountaineering and climbing greats from the 70s through the present.
If we were voting for goat photography, I would have to go with Bill "The Goat Whisperer" Middlebrook. His classic ruminant portraiture captures the essence of the Colorado mountain goat.

You crack me up Susan!
Jody - yeah, don't get me wrong... Lars has mega talent, I just think he pushes images too far... it also doesn't help that he's a really nice guy!

How about this guy, Max Seigal, out of Boulder? http://www.maxwilderness.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Saw his work at the Laughing Goat last night and it was pretty impressive.

Nate Zeman takes the cake for me.
Like most phenomenal photographers, of course, he has branched out to doing scapes beyond Colorado, but still.

Not sure why I'm not seeing Jody Grigg listed?
http://jodygrigg.photoshelter.com/#!/index" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
His unique perspectives are refreshing.
I too appreciate the images of the very prolific shooter, Bill Middlebrook. Not aware of where his images can be seen other than this website?
