It's an old Canon S95, using the P Macro setting. The limitation is my ability to hold it still because I don't carry a tripod.

I bought that camera five years ago and have worn some of the printing off the case rubbing in my pocket, but other than that it works great.

I took the one below on the road up from Vail Pass to the trailhead at the top. Didn't do any hiking because it rained all day (Wednesday), so can't say what it's like up top, but flowers are out along the road. If I was to guess, I'd say with the slightly drier weather the last couple of days that things should be good up there this weekend, flower-wise.

Typically the peak is considered to be mid to late July when the most flower varieties are in bloom. Not sure the exact weekend expected this year, but I've seen some nice flowers for at least a few weeks now. And they'll keep going well into summer.
