Woohoo! Benners and I were out on James Peak a couple of days ago, and though neither one of us was on his A-game, it was fun enough to relight the fires. So greetings once again, ladies and gents. And what better way to begin the season than a good brag-fest.
In fact, RoanMtMan and JCWhite - I'll take ya on. Here goes. (BTW, Benners, Ossie322 and Bonedale Dolly have seen my garage and can vouch for this.)
Nordic gear:
Classic, hard snow: Fischer RCS Air Carbon, 210 cm, Salomon Profil bindings
Soft (cold) snow: Elan RB, 210 cm, Salomon Profil

Skating boots: Salomon RS9 Pilot
BC gear:
Telemark: Tua Big Easy MX, 192 cm, Rainey
Asolo Snowfield II boots (that's right, LEATHER, baby)

Dynafit FT 10.0., 178 cm, Naxo NX 22 (15 14ers last spring on these babies)
Scarpa Denali TT boots
Inbounds:
For steep hills: Salomon X-wing Fury, 184 cm, Salomon 12TI

For tele, inbounds: Crispi CXU boots
To be given away soon:
Atomic Beta Ride 10.ex, 184 cm, Salomon S810 (for a buddy down on the Front Range)
K2 Shuksan, 190 cm, Fritschi Diamir (for my brother)
Volant Ti Powercarve, 185 cm, Karhu 7tm (tele) (for the aforementioned impoverished buddy)
Recently given away:
Ride Tempest snowboard, 165 cm, forgot the binding brand
Atomic TM22, 176 cm, Karhu 7tm
Atomic TM.ex, 190 cm, Karhu 7tm
And my ice-axe collection:
Workhorse: BD Raven, 65 cm
Loaner: Faders, 65 cm
New toy: BD Venom, 50 cm
I also carry a Whippet, and I'm not afraid to use it (any more).
And assorted shovels, beepers (Beartracker and Ortovox), probes, packs, etc.
If we all got together, we could have one hell of a garage sale! I also picked up most of this at gear swaps (friends don't let friends pay full retail), and lately I have had great luck at fund-raising silent auctions.
Cheers!
