Just stopping by to say, if I had a fetish, it would involve mountain hardware....ya, I said it.

But really, what can't you do with a mountain hardware garment?

Glad you enjoyed the bag so far, I love my Phantom!

I've tried everything for a pillow and nothing works. Rolled up clothes, stuff sacks, puffy's, you name it, even one of those cheap compression pillows. If I can't get comfy forget about getting any sleep. I'll probably order 2-3 different pillows that are out there and just try them and see what works. I need something fairly stiff or supportive.

Even though this bag is a regular I still had plenty of room for a water bottle, clothing or other. I did have a slight ice build up near the face opening on the outside from my breath, but it wasn't too bad. Kind of expected that though.

Not sure if I'll do more 14ers. The trip reports are too tiring.

For pillows I was unhappy for years, too. Clothes, jackets, nothing worked. I'm a side sleeper and need some support.
I eventually picked up an Exped airpillow.
It's 4"x2" (pretty small), and only weighs 3oz.
Well worth the weight if it means I can sleep better.

It can snag on the draft tube, but if you just guide the mesher with your finger ala a cow catcher it's a not issue.

I broke down and forked over almost $40 for an Exped (green one) air pillow. It showed up 2 days ago and appears it will work. I also picked up a new air mattress while at REI today. The BAIC mummy mattress was just to narrow and I don't like the long tube style so it is now for sale :(

This damn gear buying is addictive

Here's this weeks toll. A new summer bag I couldn't turn down for $109 shipped to my door, a pillow looks like it's going to work perfect, more fuel bottles cause you always need more of those :) , a new, wider pad to replace the BAIAC that's for sale, some insulated pants for Aconcagua and heck, just for good measure another Nalgene bottle.

looks like the site is all jacked up and I can't post a pic, maybe I'll try later ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)
