It's a simple equation. Work a lot, eat a little, and you'll stay pretty fit.
Work? Who said anything about work? Work's for suckers. PLAY a lot, eat a little, you'll stay fit.

For those with a brain, work IS play.

...and since McDonald's will start including step counters with their Happy Meals, this becomes a WIN WIN.

I don't think I've ever seen you stumped before. I'll take that as a compliment.

Its a myth early people ate few carbs. Ethonologists record that hunter-gatherers eat plenty of plant foods- nuts, roots, berries, leaves and even grains if they can find them.
I am not a keto person. I eat a lot of veggies. The veggies equal the portion of meat on plate, if not more. The PhD's that I follow emphasize eating lots of veggies and some nuts. So don't assume that as paleo I only eat meat. Ass-u-me

Watch out for PB2 and similar items. From another website: "PB2 is a powdered peanut butter, made by squeezing natural oils out of the peanut and then dehydrating what’s left, yielding a powder in which 90% of the fat is removed from the peanut."

"Keto people" eat veggies too, and nuts. They just don't eat MUCH fruit, or potatoes, or corn (similar to paleo I believe). I think the biggest difference between the two diets is dairy products (keto), sweet potatoes(paleo), and fruit(paleo). It's actually possible (but not practical) to be on a Paleo-ketogenic diet. That's why the 'paleo meals to go' are nearly keto except too low in fat (probably because fatty stuff doesn't work dehydrated). Both diets eschew legumes for the most part.

Yes. Low carbohydrate diets try to avoid carbohydrates.

good to know! I've never eaten it, but that's valuable information! doesn't sound nearly as appealing now...
"The love of wilderness is more than a hunger for what is always beyond reach; it is also an expression of loyalty to the earth, the earth which bore us and sustains us, the only home we shall ever know, the only paradise we ever need – if only we had the eyes to see." -Ed Abbey

"I get scared sometimes—lots of times—but it's not bad. You know? I feel close to myself. When I'm out there at night, I feel close to my own body, I can feel my blood moving, my skin and my fingernails, everything, it's like I'm full of electricity and I'm glowing in the dark—I'm on fire almost—I'm burning away into nothing—but it doesn't matter because I know exactly who I am." from The Things They Carried
