Am I missing something here? Why is everyone rabid to jump on this trip? Is there a pot of gold or a hot tub on the summit?
I'll be damned if I feel like I will ever know anything, but if we don't keep moving on that last hill, we'll never know what's on the other side.

Too funny! Scarcity and cost must be driving the demand. Or perhaps the economy really is picking up. Hot tub on the peak a great idea though, perhaps the ranch will truck one to Four Way and set it up for an additional $50 pp.

Where is Doug when we need him? He'd be all over this.

Hey anna,

Any word back from the ranch? Hoping to be part of a springish ski attempt. Trying to get some things set on the calendar . . .

BTW, thanks for all of the work you are doing on this.

I had PMd her about it and she just replied to me this morning.

Sorry for the late reply. I've been in Hawaii for the past two weeks and haven't been able to access the internet much. I'll wade through my email to see if they've responded. If not, I'll contact them again.

I am now interested in this since I learned over the holidays that my company has said that all full time employees are mandated to take at least two weeks vacation between now and March 31. :-"

No reply from Carole. Not too surprised considering the holiday season. Sent her an email this morning. Will let y'all know what I hear in response.

Well, the plot thickens. Looks like Culebra's going to be under new management...

Carole replied and said that they are transitioning the management of Cielo Vista Ranch from her office to the office of Sam Wilson. Don't know how/if this will impact the climbing community. She forwarded my emails to him and provided contact info. I'll follow up shortly with him and let you know the response.

I would like to join this hike.

Hopefully you will hear back from the new management group and they will work with us.

I've been lurking in the shadows on this thread. I would love to do the hike if it happens and there's room!
