I feel the same way about the fact that the other half of your closet is dedicated to women's underwear.

Anything left in that dumpster is fair game, ask the bums. Don't judge me.

“There are two kinds of climbers: those who climb because their heart sings when they’re in the mountains, and all the rest.” - Alex Lowe

"There have been joys too great to describe in words, and there have been griefs upon which I cannot dare to dwell; and with those in mind I say, 'Climb if you will, but remember that courage and strength are nought without prudence, and that a momentary negligence may destroy the happiness of a lifetime. Do nothing in haste, look well to each step, and from the beginning think what may be the end.'" - Edward Whymper

[quote="wildlobo71At the end of snowshoe season go hit REI for their used equipment - most of it's in really good shape and is sold cheap.[/quote]

That's a good idea - thanks!And i'm getting to your level Jeff.

It makes me a little sad - Winter boots = about 10 pairs of flip flops.

1 pair of flip flops last me a few years, therefore, one pair of winter boots = 20 years of florida shoes. :wft:
You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know. - Rene Daumal

But 1 snowflake > 20 years of Florida shoes.

Also, 1 snowflake > 5 pairs stilettos.

2 Snowflakes < Getting snowshoes.

F*** it. We're doing it snowshoeless. [-o<

You must sharpen those stilettos regularly for the harder snowflakes.
