I used to have 2' high vinyl model (Shinji's Eva) that a buddy brought back for me from Toyko.
I eventually sold it to The Vidiot in Ft. Collins for $532!

I think Guillermo del Toro borrowed heavily from Evangelion for his upcoming, "Pacific Rim."
Evangelion and Appleseed are dank! :-D

I've heard rumor also, that a live action Akira is in the works. I don't have a clue how that's even possible!?

Hi welcome to the forums.
You will find all types on here from casual hikers to serious mountaineers!
To climb is to push yourself in a way you might not normally imagine is possible. If your stamina, skill, and luck are sound you will get to stand on top. ... I realized that with climbing, I'd found something that nourished my soul and could forge me into a better version myself - Jim Davidson

Just to be clear, egos are fine with me. We all have them. But being ego-driven on the other hand, is lame. By ego-driven I mean guys like my coworker. Here's a convo we had this morning:

Ego-driven d-bag: I feel so strong today. I went running for the first time since moving to CO yesterday and I totally crushed it!!

Me: Oh that's cool! Good job. I love running, especially here.

E-D D-B: How far can you run? I ran about four miles in like 20 minutes.

Me: Oh I don't think I can run quite that fast. I'd say more like 3 miles in a half hour.

E-D D-B: Oh that's nothing man! You've lived here longer than me dude, time to step up your game.

Me: K.

Anyway I'm not judgmental in general, but I'm keenly aware of what motivates other people, and if your motivations are to feel like you're better than someone else, then you are lame. Every forum is packed with ego-driven people because forums allow people to "correct" other people and it gives them an anonymous way to show how much smarter or cooler or stronger or more experienced they are than other people. I've never seen more of that than when I was posting on a fishkeeping forum. Yikes! LOL

Anyway back to work. Thanks for the responses guys! :)

I love you.

Fan...tas...tic! Thank you both.

First impression: GLaDOS and Stringer Bell? Right on!

Second impression: Hang on, it's a movie about giant robots fighting giant monsters, so it's probably going to be pretty terrible beyond the SFX. Case in point: "Today we are cancelling the apocalypse"? Didn't Bill Pullman already give that speech?

There is a quote button at the top-right of everyone's posts. You can delete as much or as little of that person's post as you like.

That or one hell of a liar. Maybe one in five thousand people is capable of running 4 miles in 20 minutes. I'm talking "potentially" capable of running 4 miles in 20 minutes. I'm sure it's about 1 in 50000 people who can actually do that.
