Longs Peak/Meeker (Weds. 27th)

Postby Kiefer » Sat Feb 23, 2013 5:42 pm

So.
Anyone interested in heading up the Loft to Mt. Meeker and then rapping off 'The Beaver' (SE Longs) then approaching Longs Peak via 'The Staircase' this coming Wednesday, 27th?
We could descend the Keyhole Route or continue down the North Face and rap off the cables.

I want to ascend the Loft b/c I want to take some newer pics, new beta of that route for a page over at SP I'm gonna build.
........................
Also...if yer interested, how does heading into the Concert Hall at The Stanley for an hour or so by ourselves sound? If you're into the whole 'ghost thing' that is? Image

Forecast doesn't look too good . . .

If you decide to do this another time in the near future I'm your huckleberry.

Bah! If the wind isn't hurricane force, I'm still going.
Even if the weather does turn (snowy, fog), that's why we all buy $400 jackets, $135 gloves, $375 boots etc. is it not? Plus...it really makes ya feel like you accomplished something! 8)
I'll still hit Meeker & decide on Longs while up there.
I'll be at the trailhead around 4:00am.

Be careful going up the Loft with the fresh snow.
