It was clear but horribly windy the last time we were up there. I forget what month it was, perhaps last May? It looks like a really nice way to do the peak.

I was up on St. Mary's Glacier Sunday afternoon and the conditions were pretty austere with hard blowing snow. The snow in the trees was thin to wind stripped. On the glacier proper the snow was hard wind buff. It was snowing pretty hard when I turned back though...

Anybody got any pictures of St. Mary's Glacier and/or James Peak since the Monday/Tuesday storm?
