Mt Ouray

Post by cheeseburglar »

Has anybody got a good look at Mt. Ouray or been up there recently?
Wondering about how close we can get on the road and if there is a line that might be in for skiing.

Don't have any idea about road conditions, but I looked at it this week from Monarch Pass as I drove home from Denver and there should be plenty of snow up high to ski on. I bet you will need a sled to make that a day trip. Sorry I don't have better beta.
The Dalai Lama when asked what surprised him most about humanity:
“Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”
