Dyer access?

Post by Mountain Ninja »

Hey guys,

This time of year, if you were to do Dyer Mtn (and possibly W Dyer, Gemini, and Sherman), would you hit 'em up from CR 2b (the west)? If so, how far could I expect to drive with a 4wd XTerra?

Thanks for any help!

You should be able to make it to the IA Gulch TH with a 4WD XTerra, no problem.
It's very dry in the area there - made it to Mosquito Creek TH in a Subaru after the last storm, very light snow then.
I'd definitely access from the west for that group. Tho either east or west access would be do-able.
