Gilpin Peak

Post by highplaces »

Looking for info on the NW ridge of Gilpin Peak coming from Blue Lakes Pass. What little I’ve been able to find says to drop down on the east side to avoid any difficulties, and go no lower than about 100 ft from the ridge. Anyone have any info on what type of terrain I’ll encounter on this route? Thanks!

(On second thought... don't download that pic... it lost TOO much in the downsize... use my FB picture as a reference!)
I'm horrible with names...
But will never forget a mountain's face!
